Welcome to the collections catalogue for the Society of Antiquaries.

This catalogue covers the manuscript, archive and museum object collections of the Society.

The manuscript catalogue is based on the published catalogue by Pamela Willetts of 2000, with some updated reference codes. Cataloguing of archival collections, including Society records, is ongoing. Please note that we generally do not hold material relating to Fellows other than what is available on the catalogue.

We do not currently have a searchable database of the Society’s Historic Fellows – for any queries regarding these please contact the Archivist by email.

For the first time we are making our museum object records held by the Society at Burlington House publicly available.  Some object records are more complete than others and we will be editing and improving the records that we display. Museum objects held at Kelmscott Manor are being added as they are catalogued.  

To search for printed books in the Library or for online articles in ebooks, ejournals, and online databases that the Society subscribes to, either choose the 'Printed books' or 'eResources' tabs from the advanced search, or alternatively go directly to the Library catalogue.
